The Mikasa V200W ball will be used during the Paris 2024 volleyball competition

The Mikasa BV550C-WYBR ball will be used during the Paris 2024 beach volleyball competition

In just a few days, the world’s best in volleyball and beach volleyball will converge on the French capital for this year’s Olympic Games Paris 2024.

Mikasa has been confirmed as the the official ball supplier for the volleyball and beach volleyball competitions at Paris 2024, continuing its long-term partnership with the FIVB.

The Mikasa V200W ball will be used during the Paris 2024 volleyball competition. It is made of original Microfiber and PU material co-developed by Mikasa and Kuraray.

Designed for peak performance, the double-dimpled microfiber surface of the ball stabilises its flight path, and creates additional cushioned ball control, making it more comfortable for athletes to hit. Additionally, the anti-sweat functionality “Nano Balloon Silica” prevents the surface of the ball from becoming slippery during intense play.

The ball has been meticulously designed to ensure a great spectacle during play. There will be 6 blue panels and twelve yellow panels, with various panels adorned with the FIVB and Paris 2024 logos, as well as the Olympic rings.

Beach volleyball

The Mikasa BV550C-WYBR ball will be used during the Paris 2024 beach volleyball competition. The ball is crafted from synthetic leather that incorporates recycled nylon and water-based inks, significantly reducing its environmental impact.

Its dimpled surface enhances grip and control while providing a softer feel for the athletes on court. The dimpled surface ensures better grip and control and a softer feeling on the hands. Thanks to the combination of new materials and Mikasa’s Mikasa’s “TwinSTlock” technology, the ball boasts lower water absorption, allowing for a more consistent performance in varying weather conditions.

The Paris 2024 match ball has maintained the same technical performance of the match ball used consistently since its launch at the Beach Pro Tour in 2022, but features a unique ten-panel design, which will also display the the FIVB and Paris 2024 logos, as well as the Olympic rings in colors to reflect the unique Paris 2024 look.

The vibrant tricolor combination of Golden Sands yellow, Endless Skies blue, and Scorching Sun red symbolises the essence of the sport and its iconic setting.
